Outagamie County to Host Summer Beef Meeting

The UW-Extension Beef and Livestock Teams will be presenting the summer beef meeting August 16, 2017 at 6:30 pm, hosted by the Oneida Nation Farms.

 

 

The meeting is for:
• Registered stock producers
• Commercial cow/calf producers
• Small hobby farm breed producers
• Ag professionals
• Educators

The meeting will include dinner, farm and herd tours and presentations by Lyssa Seefeldt, UW-Extension Agriculture Agent and Eric Duch, DVM, United Veterinary Service.

Eric Duch will be discussing vaccination protocols and products to help beef cow/calf producers decide how to safeguard their herd and improve production. Lyssa Seefeldt will be talking about tools available to help farmers analyze how their farm is doing financially as well as budgeting resources.
