4-H CloverOutagamie County 4-H Youth Development

What is Outagamie County 4-H? 4-H is a dynamic youth organization for people age five and in kindergarten, until one year after they graduate from high school, male or female, whether you live in the city, village or country. You will have fun, be challenged, learn new things, meet others, and be an active member of your community. Volunteers will work with you to plan and carry out a year long program. Getting your family involved will make your experience even more meaningful.

Outagamie County Cooperative Extension 4-H programs give young people a chance to learn new skills, gain self-confidence, and contribute to their communities. 4-H Youth Development faculty and staff create real-world experiences that teach leadership and citizenship skills.

Collegiate 4-H is an organization that provides its members with a sense of identity on campus, enriches their lives through group projects and recreation, and develops confidence and leadership skills. Clubs provide service and support to their local and state 4-H programs, such as serving as judges and conducting training workshops. They are also a service and social group for campus students.

University of Wisconsin-Extension programs in 4-H Youth Development give young people opportunities to learn new skills, gain self-confidence and contribute to their communities. Backed by the knowledge and research base of the University of Wisconsin, 4-H Youth Development educators design educational, leadership and citizenship experiences for youth. These programs are delivered directly through more than 20,000 adult volunteers in neighborhood 4-H clubs or groups and by collaborating with other local organizations.
